Airworks Celebrates 32nd Commencement Ceremony
The journey to the skies reached a new milestone as Airworks Aviation Academy proudly held its 32nd Commencement Ceremony on February 28, 2025, at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino Mactan. The event honored the dedication and perseverance of 32 graduates who have completed the Commercial Pilot License Course, marking the beginning of their professional aviation careers.

The graduating class was composed of students from the Philippines, Maldives, Bangladesh, and Libya, reflecting the academy’s commitment to producing world-class aviators from diverse backgrounds. Each graduate has spent countless hours mastering both theoretical and practical aspects of aviation, preparing to take on the skies with skill, confidence, and discipline.
The highlight of the ceremony was an inspiring keynote address delivered by Capt. Jesse Dann Barretto, an alumnus of Airworks Aviation Academy and now a First Officer at Cebu Pacific Air. Capt. Barretto shared his journey from being a student at the academy to flying commercial jets, emphasizing the importance of resilience, continuous learning, and passion for aviation. He reminded the graduates that this moment was only the beginning of their careers and encouraged them to uphold the legacy of Airworks Aviation Academy with pride and professionalism.
